Obverse: WFK Christie, President of the Storting, on the left and Norwegian nobleman, flag officer and Admiral Tordenskiold on the right. At the top and bottom there is a minted denomination of 100 (kroner). In the middle are the initials of the Bank of Norway, the year and the serial number.
Reverse: in the centre of the reverse is Håkonshallen, the old royal castle in Bergen, which was the capital in the Middle Ages. Surrounded by: on the left, the head of a Viking king, on the right, the coat of arms of Norway surrounded by the arms of the 6 Norwegian dioceses.
About the silver plate: this is the Norwegian equivalent of the 100 kroner banknote, now out of circulation, struck on a silver plate.
