Obverse: the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania is embossed with ribbon motifs in a semicircle around the panel. The top of the coin carries Lithuania, the bottom - 50 Litas.
Reverse: a sculpture "Pieta" by Stanislovas Kuzma, a sculpture "Pieta", is depicted. Sculptured around the sculpture: 1991, JANUARY 13, 1996.
Edge: the inscriptions on the edge of the coin and the baptism of the blood are drawn again in life.
