Reverse: the reverse of the coin shows a Kookaburra on a tree branch surrounded by leaves of a tree. The words "AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA" in the top of the coin, at the bottom of the coin are minted coin year, weight and the purity of the silver "2014 1 oz 999 SILVER". On the left side of the coin is minted the letter "P" which is the mint mark of The Perth Mint.
Obverse: the obverse of the coin shows the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II (Australia valid for a constitutional monarchy, in which Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is the Queen of Australia). The coin engraved with the words "ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA", on the bottom also are minted denomination "1 DOLLAR". Below queen image engraved in the designer's initials RBI (Ian Rank - Broadley).
About the coin: every year the coin minted with another kookaburra image. Australian Kookabura silver coin is 99.99% pure silver. This means that the coin is minted entirely of pure silver containing no other metals as impurities.
