About the set: this 2001 five-coin set consists of the 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz and 1/20 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf coins. The extremely low mintage (only 1000 pieces) set is packaged in a luxurious-looking box with a certificate.
The obverses of the coins: depict Queen Elizabeth II, with the Queen's name 'ELIZABETH II' at the top and the denomination of the coin and the year of minting '2001' at the bottom.
The reverses of all five coins: feature a large, beautiful maple leaf with the 'Viking Heritage' secrecy mark. The name of the country of origin 'CANADA' is embossed at the top of the reverse. The name of the precious metal and the weight of the coin appear at the bottom.
