In the bottom of each coin is the year "2018", with mint marks and coin engraving on both sides.
Reverse: ordinary denominations of euro coins.
The prominent medal depicts the King Philippe of Belgium, on the left side of the royal monogram, and on the right side the words "PHILIPPVS REX BELGARVM 2013 - 2018".
The reverse of the commemorative medal depicts the coat of arms of the Belgian kingdom above the name of the state in the three official Dutch, French and German languages "BELGIQUE - BELGIE - BELGIEN".
