About the coin: the Great Britain Sovereign gold coin featuring the queen of the middle age Victoria with Crown, this is the anniversary Queen Victoria coin marking the 50th anniversary of her rule. This queen's Victorian Jubilee Head Sovereign coin was minted from 1887 to 1893. Sovereign gold coins are one of the most popular historical gold coins of the Royal British Mint. The sovereign coin has been regularly minted since 1817 with every British monarch (Sovereign).
