The Sower is engraved on the sides of the 10, 20, 50 euro cent, the theme is a phenomenon transferred from the former franc, and the national sides of the 1, 2 euro coins feature a stylized tree in a hexagon with the slogan 'Liberté Egalité Fraternité'.
