Reverse: the small coat of arms of the Russian Empire is depicted on the reverse a crowned double-headed eagle holding monarch symbols in its claws, the chest of an eagle depicts St. George, and in the wings the coats of arms of the imperial lands, the denomination engraved at the bottom of the reverse and the year of the coin minting РУБЛЬ (eng. ruble).
Edge: the inscription "ЧИСТАГО СЕРЕБРА 4 ЗОЛОТНИКА 21 ДОЛѦ" (eng. pure silver 4 zolotnika 21 parts) is engraved on the edge.
