Obverse: the obverse of the coin shows a photograph of the facade of the Campoamor theatre, where the annual awards are presented, and the sculptural symbol of the Prince of Asturias' awards, a work by Joan Miró, to the left. The coin is struck with the denomination '200 EURO' at the bottom and the country of origin 'ESPAÑA' at the top.
Reverse: S. A. S.A. with the image of Prince D. Felipe and the coat of arms of the Prince of Asturias Foundation. Surrounding the coin is an inscription indicating the occasion of the issue: 'XXV ANIVERSARIO PREMIOS PRINCIPE DE ASTURIAS' (XXV Anniversary of the Asturian Prince's Awards).
