Obverse: the coin depicts Queen Elizabeth II in the centre of the obverse. The coin is also embossed with the words 'ELIZABETH II', the country of origin 'AUSTRALIA', the year of issue '2000', the denomination '5 DOLLARS' and the designer's initials 'RDM'.
Reverse: the reverse of the coin features two dancing figures in a dream circle in the centre, a circle of aquatic wildlife, a wreath encircling the whole, and the Olympics logo in colour at the bottom.
About the coin: This silver coin was issued to commemorate the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The coin is part of the Sydney Olympics series of 16 silver coins. The obverse was designed by Ian Rank-Broadley and the reverse by Stuart Devlin.
