Obverse: the obverse of the coin shows the flags of the Allies on the right and left (USSR, USA, UK, France), with doves flying above them. The words LIBERTÉ - ÉGALITÉ - FRATERNITÉ - PAX (Liberty - Equality - Fraternity - Peace) are engraved in a semicircle around the coin.
Reverse: The reverse of the coin shows the flags of France between which the denomination and the date '100 FRANCS 8 MAY 1945' are embossed. The words 'RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE 1995' are embossed in a semicircle on the left-hand side of the coin.
