Obverse: on the obverse of the coin, styled from the stars inscribed national coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania - Vytis, on the left hand side of the coin is the name of the state "LIETUVA" (Eng. Lithuania), on the right hand side is the mint mark of the Lithuanian Mint, in the bottom year of the coin "2018" and the coin denomination "5€".
Reverse: this gold coin depict the first two Lithuanian satellites "Lituanica SAT-1" and "LitSAT-1" and their flight trajectory, stylized, as well as messages sent by Lithuania to these letters "LINKĖJIMAI VISIEMS LIETUVIAM" (Eng. Welcome to all Lithuanians..." and "LIETUVA MYLI LAISVĘ..." (Eng. Lithuania love freedom...".
About the coin: this 5-euro coin of the Bank of Lithuania is an official instrument of settlement of the Republic of Lithuania. This coin is dedicated to the Lithuanian science of technology.
