About the coin: the 2005 Austrian 2 euro commemorative coin is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the restoration of the Austrian state. Austria dedicated the coin to the restoration of Austria as a sovereign state. The Treaty was signed in 1955. May 15 Vienna, between the allied occupying powers (France, the United Kingdom, the US and the Soviet Union) and Austria. The document officially entered into force in 1955 on July 27th.
