Reverse: the reverse of the coin shows a strong British Isles standing Britannia and holding Neptune sticks. This image was already used more than 2000 years ago during the Roman Empire, Emperor Adrian's time. On the top of the coin is the inscribed weight of the coin "1 oz", and further to the right side is minted purity of silver "999 FINE SILVER". On the left side of the coin are minted words "BRITANNIA" and coin year "2024".
Obverse: the obverse depicts King Charles III around inscribed "CHARLES iII D G REX F D 2 POUNDS".
About the coin: This is the first symbolic coin struck by the Royal Mint in Britannia, featuring the image of King Charles III. Although it has been minted since 1997, this year the coin has been issued with a new design that creates a latent image, surface animation and tincture lines to protect the coin from counterfeiting.
