Obverse: the center features the double-headed eagle of the Russian Empire beneath the Imperial Crown, holding the Imperial Sceptre and Orb. The eagle's breast bears the Moscow coat of arms with Saint George, while the wings display the coats of arms of the Empire's principal territories. Around the rim is the inscription: “Б. М. НИКОЛАЙ I ИМП. И САМОД. ВСЕРОСС.” ("By the Grace of God, Nicholas I, Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia").
Reverse: the center displays the denomination "25 КОПѢЕКЪ" ("25 Kopeks"), with the year of issue and the Saint Petersburg Mint mark "С.П.Б." below. The design is surrounded by a wreath of laurel and oak branches, topped by the Imperial Crown.
About the coin: the silver 25 Kopeks was struck during the reign of Emperor Nicholas I (1825–1855). The coin is minted in .868 fine silver, weighs 5.18 g, contains approximately 4.5 g of pure silver, and measures 24 mm in diameter. These coins circulated widely throughout the Russian Empire and are appreciated today for their historical importance, elegant Imperial design, and excellent minting quality.
