About the coin: Issued on behalf of Saint Helena in 2021, this coin is the first release in the “Modern Trade Dollar” series dedicated to historic trade dollars. In the late 19th century, Chinese silver trade coins featuring dragons were used in international commerce and became widely known as “Dragon Dollars”.
