About the coin: the €2 commemorative coin of Estonia on the BU card commemorates the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Estonian Writers' Society. The Estonian Literary Society was founded in 1872 in Viljandi. The Society helped to promote literature in Estonian and thus indirectly raised the cultural level of the Estonian nation.
