Set of Japanese BU yen with pure silver medal and certificate of authenticity, direct from the Japanese National Mint. The set consists of 500 yen (new design), 100 yen, 10 yen bronze coin and 1 yen aluminium coin. The other two coins, the 50 yen and the 5 yen brass coins, are uniquely shaped with a round hole in the centre. This year is the Year of the Tiger in the Oriental calendar, hence the tiger on the special silver medal.
About the set: Each set of coins contains a special commemorative red brass Eastern Zodiac medal, for one year only. This Mint set contains all 2022 circulation coins issued in Japan. Each set is also presented in an official Mint box. This time, the box is decorated with cherry blossoms. Limited to 45,000 coins per set.
