Obverse: the obverse features the priest and poet Maironis. At the top is the inscription LIETUVOS BANKAS, at the bottom the denomination DVIDEŠIMT LITŲ. In the center above the denomination are the banknote printing year 1993, and below the denomination signatures of the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania and the Minister of Finance.
Reverse: depicts the Vytautas the Great War Museum ensemble in Kaunas. Maironis is buried near this museum. The second component of the reverse is J. Zikaras’s Freedom sculpture, representing a winged woman breaking the chains of oppression. At the bottom the denomination DVIDEŠIMT LITŲ, in the upper right corner the Coat of Arms of Lithuania.
