Obverse: printed in reddish-brown with the inscription LITHUANIAN BANK on the front. In the center is the denomination 10 TEN CENTS, with the issue place and date KAUNAS, NOVEMBER 16, 1922, and the serial marking SERIES T at the bottom.
Reverse: on a reddish-brown background, the text LITHUANIAN BANKNOTE, denomination 10 CENTS 10, and the warning COUNTERFEITING BANKNOTES IS A CRIME are printed.
About the banknote: this is one of the first banknotes of the Republic of Lithuania issued after independence restoration. Intended for small daily transactions, this 10 cents banknote was printed at the Andreas Haase printing house in Prague, and its design was created by artist Adomas Varnas. This historically significant banknote is a valuable example of early Lithuanian currency with lasting numismatic value.
