Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania in a stylized way, surrounded by inscriptions in the middle of the coin "LITHUANIA" year "2014" and denomination 50 LITŲ" images of the life of Lithuanian peasants according to K. Donelaitis poem "Metai" (Eng. Years). The obverse of the coin also features the coat of arms of Lithuania mint.
Reverse: the reverse depicts the motifs of K. Donelaitis' poem "Metai" (eng. Years), depicting the works and activities of Lithuanian peasants, as well as the sun depicting the change of the natural cycle, rotating in an eternal circle. In the are inscription "KRISTIJONAS DONELAITIS" and the number "300" marking the jubilee year are engraved in the center.Edge: Engraved inscription "JAU SAULELĖ VĖL ATKOPDAMA BUDINO SVIETĄ" (eng. The sun is already recovering dudin's place).
