Averse: the coin is inscribed in the center of the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania Panel Virum its semicircular engraved name of the state "LIETUVA" (LITHUANIA) coins to the right of the coin mintage year "2011". Below is a stylized image of the yachts and the denomination of the coin "50 LITŲ".
Reverse: the reverse of the coin shows the stylized Olympic sport - sailing. The coin is inscribed above the word "LONDONAS" and the year "2012". One of the stylized yacht sails incorporated a hidden image. The coin is tilted at an angle, sails revealed the Lithuanian National Olympic Committee logo or XXX.

Edge: Edge engraved word "VĖJO" and stylized sails.
