Obverse: The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by blooming flowers. The weight and fineness "1 oz. 999 Ag" are engraved on the top of the coin. Below is the name of the Queen and the name of the country "ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2022".
Reverse: The reverse of the coin depicts three blooming flowers - Waratah. The denomination "1 DOLLAR" is indicated at the bottom of the reverse.
About the coin: The Waratah plant is the emblem of New South Wales, Australia, where Sydney is located. The Waratah bush is large and unique. Its stem can grow up to 3 meters tall, so it towers over other plants. On the stem stands a bright red cone-shaped flower, which grows on the base of green, as if shaved, leaves. Waratah plants grow in south-eastern Australia along the central coast and have become an iconic symbol of Australia, New South Wales and Sydney. Now this beautiful plant is the first edition of the Australian Wildflower Series.
