Obverse: The obverse of the coin features the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania – Vytis. Below it, the technical specifications of the coin, 1/4 oz Au 999.9, and the emblem of the Lithuanian Mint are engraved in small letters. At the bottom of the coin, the name of the state and the nominal value are engraved: LIETUVOS 1 RESPUBLIKA.
Reverse: The reverse of the coin depicts the profile of Prof. Vladas Jurgutis (1885–1966), with a facsimile of his signature below. Surrounding the design is the inscription: LIETUVOS BANKUI IR LITUI 75.
About the coin: This is the first gold 1 litas collector coin issued by the restored Republic of Lithuania, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Lithuanian Bank and the litas.
