Obverse: the coin's obverse depicts the majesty stamp of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Vytautas the Great, the name of the state LIETUVA (eng. Lithuania) at the top of the coin, in the bottom coin denomination 500 LITŲ (eng. litas).
Reverse: the reverse depicts the Battle of Grunwald scene with the unique details of riders and infantry apparel, armor and weaponry of that era. The flag of the Order of the Teutonic Knights is depicted below, on both sides the anniversary year from the left is 1410, and in the right 2010. In the bottom of the coin is battle name ŽALGIRIO MŪŠIS (eng. Battle of Grundwald).
Edge: in the edge minted styled 15th century stomp.
