Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts King of Denmark Christian X, around are minted inscription "CHRISTIAN X KONGE AF DANMARK" (eng. Christian X King of Denmark). Also on the coin obverse in the bottom are minted small heart, which is the mark of the Denmark royal mint, year of coin and the three letters "VBP" which are the initials of the coin engraver.
Reverse: a coat of arms of the Kingdom of Denmark which is extremely rich in detail. This coat of arms is encircled by the royal ermine, and the entire composition is decorated with a crown. In the bottom of the coin is minted the year of the coin, denomination "20 KRONER", the small heart, which is the mark of the Denmark royal mint and three letters "VBP" which are the initials of the coin engraver.
