Obverse: The obverse of the coin shows microfilms forming a cross. In the cells divided by the cross, various symbols of the state are depicted: Vytis, Simno church (the place of origin of the "Chronicles of the Lithuanian Catholic Church"), hands handing over the publication, the name of the state "Lithuania" carved on the right, the year of issue of the coin "2023" and the denomination "€5", the "Lietuvos monetų kalyklos" logo is also indicated. The top of the obverse shows a dove carrying the entire composition of microfilms.
Reverse: The reverse of the coin depicts the bearer of truth, who has carried the word inspired by the Holy Spirit throughout the ages to this day. The dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit, while the pillar indicates the vocation of the writer, the bare feet indicate his poverty, and the typewriter testifies to the nature of the age. The composition includes the inscription "After reading, pass it on to someone else".
