The coin mintage year engraved illustration after sitting on your desk globe. On the left - the mint mark "R". On the right side - the engraver's initials "LDS". State the name "SAN MARINO" is inscribed in a semicircle along the upper edge of the inner part, while the words "ANNO MONDIALE DELLA FISICA" - along the bottom edge of the inner part. The outer part (coin ring) superimposed - twelve stars of the European Union. Among the Stars - stylized atom, the entire coin surface parts.
