Obverse: The central part of the obverse features a stylized version of the heraldic emblem of the Guardia di Finanza, which embodies the idea of security and reflects the vision of the future role of the corps, honoring its past and adapting to future challenges. The emblem depicts various elements that symbolize the environment: mountain, sea and sky , as well as a vulture, a mythological creature sickening the wealth represented by the treasury, and a crown. The letters "RI" for the Republic of Italy are depicted on the side, with the years "1774-2024" below, indicating the date of the founding of the Guardia di Finanza and the date of issue of the coin. On the right is the Roman mint mark "R" and the initials "MB" of the designer Marta Bonifacio. The inscription "GUARDIA DI FINANZA" is written on top, and the twelve stars of the European Union are arranged around it.
Reverse: The reverse of the coin shows the denomination and a map of Europe.
