Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts the statue of the god Asklepios, the god of medicine, in front of the Asklepios, the ancient Greek temple of healing in Epidaurus. The coin is surrounded by the inscriptions 'TO ΠPΩTO ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚO ΣYΝTAΓMA', 'ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ' and the years '1822' and '2022'.

About the coin: This coin celebrates the 200th anniversary of the Greek Constitution. The first Greek Constitution was adopted after the Assembly of Epidaurus on 15 December 1821. The Provisional Constitution formally entered into force in January 1822, followed by four more amendments in 1986, 2001, 2008 and 2019.
