In the foreground is a great bustard reaching for a red-bellied gossip floating in the water. In reeds there is a reed, gray winches fly in the distance.
Reverse: the common side of the coin depicts a geographical image of Europe.
Edge: engraved words "LAISVĖ * VIENYBĖ * GEROVĖ *" (eng. Freedom, unity, prosperity).
About the coin: the coin is dedicated to the Žuvintas Biosphere Reserve included in the UNESCO Man and Biosphere Program, the coin itself is packed into an official card by Lithuanian Bank.
