Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts the stylized coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania Vytis, the silver coin bears the inscription "LIETUVA" (eng. Lithuania) at the top, the denomination "50 LITU" at the bottom and the year of issue "2014".
Reverse: the reverse of the coin depicts the geographical images of the three Baltic States and the composition of the road connecting them. The left side of the silver coin bears the inscription "BALTIJOS KELIAS 25" (eng. Baltic Way). The reverse is also embossed with the author's initials.
Edge: the names of the three Baltic States "EESTI LATVIJA LIETUVA" are engraved on the edge of the coin.

About the coin: the coin symbolizes the Baltic Way, which took place in 1989. August 23, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact (the German-USSR non-aggression pact with secret protocols) on the division of Europe between Germany and the USSR. The coin was minted at the Lithuanian Mint.
