Obverse: The obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania on a shield, below it the year of issue – “1995,” at the top the inscription “LIETUVA,” on the left a fragment of M. K. Čiurlionis’ artwork, and at the bottom the denomination – “50 LITŲ.”
Reverse: The reverse depicts a portrait of M. K. Čiurlionis. To the right of the portrait, the inscription “M. K. ČIURLIONIS” is engraved in a semicircle, and on the left – “1875–1911.”
About the coin: This silver coin was issued to commemorate the 120th anniversary of M. K. Čiurlionis’ birth.
