Obverse: The obverse of the coin depicts a Tiger cub lying next to a bamboo forest, with a Korean temple in the background, above which is the name "KOREAN TIGER" and the year of mintage "2021". Just below, the weight of the coin is engraved on the right-hand side of the coin, and the word “GANGNEUNG” is engraved on the bamboo stem on the left-hand side of the coin, the town of South Korea where the mint is located.
Reverse: The reverse of the coin depicts the contours of the "united" North and South Korean states, which are depicted in Korean characters as QR code symbols. The right-hand corner of the coin bears an authentication mark depicting the coin's silver fineness "999", the mintmark on the left-hand side of the coin and the word "FINE SILVER 999" embossed on the bottom of the coin. The name of the country "REPUBLIC OF KOREA" is engraved on the top of the coin.
