The words 'ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA' are engraved on the top of the coin and the technical specifications of the coin are engraved on the bottom of the coin: weight '1 oz', fineness '9999 Ag' and face value '1 DOLLAR'.
Reverse: the reverse of the coin shows the symbols of the year 2023 - rabbits. The Chinese symbol for 'rabbit' is engraved at the top of the coin. On the right-hand side of the coin is the letter 'P', symbolising the Perth Mint in Australia.

The reverse design changes each year according to the Chinese lunar calendar, and the 2023 reverse is dedicated to the Year of the rabbit.
