Obverse: the center of the obverse of the coin depicts the sun, surrounded by three feathers and 12 phases of the moon. The words "REPUBLICA DI SAN MARINO", which means the Republic of San Marino, are written in the next ring. At the bottom of the ring are the coin illustrators' initials "A. MASINI" (Annalisa Masini). The last ring features the 12 signs of the Zodiac.
Reverse: the fish depicted in the center of the reverse of the coin is the twelfth sign of the Zodiac. Twelve stars can be seen on the drawing of the fish, the arrangement of which symbolizes the sign of the fish in the constellation. Slightly to the left of the fish is the word "PISCES". The denomination "5 EURO" is written on the bottom of the coin. The outer ring of the coin features 10 Pisces Zodiac symbols and the year of issue "2021" can be seen at the very top.
About the coin: San Marino continues the numismatic € 5 series dedicated to the twelve signs of the Zodiac. The entire € 5 series should be minted until 2021.
