Obverse: The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Marshall. Around it, at the top, the inscription EUROPEAN RECOVERY PROGRAM 1947 is engraved. The portrait divides the nominal value 10 G, and below it, the inscriptions GEORGE C. MARSHALL and the year of issue, 1997, are present. The obverse was engraved by Berend Strik.
Reverse: The reverse of the coin depicts a portrait of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. At the top, in a semicircle, the inscription BEATRIX is engraved, and below the portrait, KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN (translated: Queen of the Netherlands) is written.
Edge: The edge of the coin is engraved with the inscription GOD ZIJ MET ONS (translated: God be with us).
About the Coin: This 10 Gulden Dutch silver coin was issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Marshall Plan.
