Obverse: The obverse of the € 5 silver coin depicts Prince Rainier III of Prince Monaco. The coin is engraved with the words "RAINIER III - PRINCE DE MONACO", the year of mintage at the bottom of the coin is 2004. The obverse of the € 2 coin also depicts Prince Rainier III of Prince Monaco. The obverse of the € 1 coin depicts Prince Rainier III and Prince Albert II, heir to the throne. The obverse of the 50, 20 and 10 euro cents depicts the prince's seal. The obverse of 5, 2 and 1 cent depicts the coat of arms of the Dukes of Monaco.
