About the coin: The 2021 Saint Helena 1 Pound „Napoleon Angel“ silver coin commemorates the 200th anniversary of Napoleon Bonaparte's death. Following his defeat at the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon was exiled to the remote island of Saint Helena in the Atlantic Ocean, where he died on 5 May 1821. He was originally buried on the island, but his remains were transferred to Paris in 1840 and now rest at Les Invalides. The angel depicted on the reverse symbolizes remembrance, respect and peace. Issued in cooperation with The East India Company, the coin is struck from .999 fine silver, weighs 1 troy ounce (31.1 g) and measures 39 mm in diameter. It features a reeded edge.
