Reverse: the reverse of the Australian silver coin features a spider funnel image. The inscription "AUSTRALIAN FUNNEL-WEB SPIDER" is inscribed around the central face of the coin and the year of issue, weight, fineness and the name "2015 1 OZ 999 SILVER" appear on the lower part of the coin. The letter "P" is also engraved on the coin issuing the Perth Mint.
Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts Queen Elizabeth II, who is also the Australian Monarch. The name of the queen and the name of the State "ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA" appear on the top of the coin and the face value of the coin is "1 DOLLAR" at the bottom.
