Obverse: the obverse of the collectible silver bar depicts an energetic horse stepping forward with one of its front legs raised. The animal is shown beside a massive tree trunk, with the Chinese character “馬”, meaning Horse, engraved above it. The frosted relief of the horse contrasts distinctly with the bar’s mirror-like surface. The composition begun on the obverse continues onto the opposite side of the bar.
Reverse: the reverse depicts the same horse from the opposite perspective, partially concealed behind the tree trunk. The PAMP logo and the inscription “SUISSE” (Switzerland) appear at the top. The technical specifications “10 g SILVER 999” are engraved in the centre, while the individual serial number and the PAMP assayer’s mark “ESSAYEUR FONDEUR” appear below. The designs on both sides form a continuous artistic composition, showing the horse and tree from different perspectives.
About the bar: the 2014 “Year of the Horse” collectible silver bar belongs to the “Lunar Calendar Series” produced by the renowned Swiss precious metals manufacturer PAMP. The bar is made of 999 fine silver and weighs 10 grams. One of the distinctive features of this series is the continuous artistic design extending across both sides of the bar, allowing the obverse and reverse to complement one another.
The Horse is the seventh of the twelve animals of the Chinese lunar zodiac. In Chinese culture, the horse has traditionally been associated with energy, endurance, speed, freedom and determination.

People born under the Horse sign are traditionally described as energetic, active, independent and freedom-loving. They are often associated with quick reactions, sociability, optimism and an ability to connect easily with others. Horse people generally enjoy activity, new experiences and situations in which they can make their own decisions.
People of this sign are often considered hardworking, ambitious and persistent in pursuing their goals. They have a strong sense of independence and dislike excessive control or restrictions. Traditionally attributed negative characteristics include impatience, impulsiveness and a tendency to quickly lose interest in monotonous activities. In relationships, Horse people value sincerity, trust and personal freedom, while in love they can be highly passionate and devoted.
PAMP (“Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux”) is a renowned Swiss precious metals manufacturer producing investment and collectible bars in gold, silver, platinum and other precious metals. The “Lunar Calendar Series” was launched in 2012 and is dedicated to the twelve animals of the Chinese lunar calendar. The 2014 Horse is the third design in the series, following the 2012 Dragon and the 2013 Snake.
The bar is supplied in its original red PAMP “CertiPAMP” packaging, which also serves as the manufacturer’s certificate of authenticity. It displays the bar’s weight, silver purity and individual certificate number, which corresponds with the serial number engraved on the bar itself. The original packaging protects the bar and certifies its key authenticity details.
