In Chinese culture, the dragon is revered as a divine mythical creature, a symbol of power, strength, wealth, and good fortune, and it is often portrayed alongside a luminous or flaming pearl. Dragons are also believed to be the rulers of water and weather. On the bottom of the reverse, we can see The Perth Mint’s ‘'P'’ mintmark.
Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts the image of Queen Elizabeth II (in Australia there is a constitutional monarchy under which Queen Elizabeth II is also Queen of Australia her Majesty). On the top, we can see the minted word "ELIZABETH II", the name of the state "AUSTRALIA", coin weight and purity. On the bottom of the coin denomination is "100 DOLLARS".
