Obverse: The obverse of the medal depicts King Gustaf V of Sweden, who ruled the Kingdom of Sweden from 1907 to 1950. The left side of the medal depicts 3 crowns. The Royal Monogram of Gustaf V is engraved on the right. At the bottom of the medal are the words "Gustaf V: s REGERINGSTID" and the engraved year of the king's reign - "1907-1950".
Reverse: Images of a 5 kroon coin arranged on the reverse of the medal. The oak leaves are depicted around it, with acorns in the middle. The inscription "GULDMYNT" is at the bottom of the medal.
