Obverse: the king's head is tilted to the left. The inscription "CARL XVI GUSTAF SVERIGES KONUNG I 25 AR" (Karl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden for 25 years) is engraved around the bust.
Reverse: in the center is the coronation crown of Eric XIV with the official monogram of the king. To the left of the monogram is the top of the royal scepter and to the right is the royal ball. The words "FOR SVERIGE I TIDEN" (for sweden in time) are engraved at the top. The denomination and the year of forging are engraved at the bottom.
About the coin: the coin is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the coronation of King Carl XIV Gustaf.
