Obverse: the obverse depicts the second king of the united kingdom of Italy Umberto I. Around the king bust are minted inscription "UMBERTO I RE DI ITALIA" (eng. Umberto I king of Italy), the year of the coin is in the bottom.
Reverse: the reverse depicts the crowned royal coat of arms of Italy, surrounded by laurel and oak wreaths, in both sides of the coat of arms are coin denominations "L20" (eng. 20 lire). At the top of the coin is minted the star and in the bottom mintmark.
About the coin: Umberto I father was Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of the united kingdom of Italy. Umberto I represents one of the oldest royal families in the world, the House of Savoy, known for 1003 years.
