About the coin: this 10-rouble circulation coin was minted in 1886–1894 at the Saint Petersburg Mint. Struck in .900 fine gold, it weighs 12.9 g, containing 11.61 g of pure gold. Its edge bears the inscription “ЧИСТАГО ЗОЛОТА 2 ЗОЛОТНИКА 69,36 ДОЛЕЙ,” confirming the exact gold content. Highly collectible, it is one of the most iconic issues from the reign of Alexander III.
