On the left side of the coin, the letter “P” is minted, indicating the Australian mint The Perth Mint.
Reverse: The reverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II, who is also the Monarch of Australia. At the top the words “ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA” are engraved, and at the bottom it reads “1/2 oz 999 Ag 2011 50 CENTS”.
