Obverse: a palladium circle embossed in the middle of the obverse of the coin, depicting the head of a young girl. The words "SLOVENSKA REPUBLIKA" are engraved around it. The year mintage "2003" is depicted at the top and the coat of arms of the Slovak state is depicted at the bottom. The upper, right and left sides of the coin depict the leaves of a July tree.
Reverse: On the reverse, the silhouette of Bratislava Castle is depicted on a palladium blank in the centre of the field. Around it on the gold blank is the inscription "10 ROKOV SLOVENSKEJ REPUBLIKY" (10 years of the Slovak Republic). In the background is an outline of the map of Slovakia. To the left is the presidential standard with a lime leaf and to the right a lime twig. At the top is a lime leaf with the years 1993 and 2003, indicating the year of the origin and the tenth anniversary of the Slovak Republic. At the bottom is the face value of 10 000 Sk.
