Reverse: the Temple of Heaven in Beijing is depicted. Along the rim is the inscription “中华人民共和国” (People’s Republic of China), with the year of issue “2026” engraved at the bottom.
About the coin: the Chinese Gold Panda is one of the most popular investment and collectible gold coins worldwide. The coin is struck from pure .999 gold and is legal tender in China. First issued in 1983 by the People’s Bank of China, the series is renowned for its annually changing panda designs, except in 2002 when the 2001 design was reused. The coins are minted in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Shenyang without mint marks, with subtle design differences between mints.
