The magnetic sensor allows you to quickly and confidently test the authenticity of gold bars and coins. The scale's strong magnetic field penetrates deeply into the core of the bar or coin without breaking it. The greatest advantage of the magnetic sensor is the rapid detection of tungsten deposits in pure gold (99.99% gold). The information is always unambiguous, and tungsten inclusions can be detected with complete confidence even under a layer of gold up to 3 mm thick. By comparison, an expensive XRF device can penetrate only 0.010 mm into gold. This means that magnetic scales can measure the metal about 300 times deeper. Thanks to the battery, the scales can operate in places without mains electricity and are a great help when buying investment gold. It can also be used to determine the fineness of silver, palladium and platinum. The sensor is packaged in a convenient aluminium case for easy transport. You will receive a detailed instruction manual with readings when you purchase.
Using the sensor: when using the device, make sure that there are no phones, watches or other digital devices around and that the room temperature is between 20-30 degrees. Before measuring precious metals - calibrate the instrument by placing a graphite plate (included in the kit) on the instrument. Place the test product in the middle and compare the result with the table in the leaflet. It is not necessary to remove the test items from their packaging, so you will not damage them when testing precious metals.
